This week I have a fun gift idea for you.  I am sure that you, just like me, probably have a growing list of people that you would like to give a little something-something to and are looking for ways to stretch your gift giving budget.  Instead of 'just' a bottle of wine how about a whole matching gift ensemble that will take you less than a morning to make.  My set includes 4 glass coasters, 4 glass charms, and a tag for that special bottle of Merlot.

{Supplies}

JustRite Stamps: Sparky and Friends Cling, Sparky the Snowman Cling

Spellbinders: Lacey Circles, Lacey Squares, Standard Circles Lg

Copic Markers and Memento Tuxedo Ink

White and Black Cardstock

Floss, gems, chalk, wine charm rings

{How To}
Coaster: Stamp your snowman family image four times on white cardstock. Color with Copic markers.  Cut out circle shapes using the circle die template.  Mat onto black Lacey circles.  Stitch along the circumference with contrasting colored floss.  Adhere a circle cardstock piece to the back to finish off your coaster.  

Glass charm: Stamp a snowflake image four times on white cardstock. Color each snowflake a different color (this is important because that is how a guest will be able to identify which glass is theirs) or alternatively use different images for each charm. Cut out each charm using the smallest Lacey circle die template.  Embellish with colored gems.  Punch a tiny hole and thread with a metal charm bracelet.

(Tip:  Over the years I received or purchased a number of wine glass charms and have accumulated quite a stash. If you have a few to spare -  take 4 existing charms off of their rings and use those rings to assemble  your new personally handmade charms).

Q&A

Hi Marian, Thanks for that great suggestion!  My husband thought that laminating them would make them last longer too but we don't have a laminator at home.  I am almost sure the Spellbinders die templates will cut through the plastic.  If you do give it a try let me us know what works for you :)
