Welcome to JustRite Stampers’ newest Wednesday feature, 12 Weeks of Christmas Blog Hops #3! Every Wednesday up until Thanksgiving some of your favorite designers will be joining some of the JustRite design team for a series of Christmas blog hops, showcasing JustRite’s entire Christmas Collection of stamps! So mark your calendars for Wednesdays at 9am Central for great Christmas gift, card & project ideas, starting at the JustRite Inspiration blog!
This week I bring you a handmade paper wine bag (or for that matter a paper bag that can hold any bottle of the same size like a fanchy-schmancy olive oil!). I was inspired to make this after seeing some of the gorgeous creations created by the very talented ladies at Archivers (thanks Vickie) and also from super input provided by Michelle, Lisa and Laura :) You can make this bag with just a few supplies that most will find on their own craft tables. Here's what you will need for the bag and tag:
{Supplies}
JustRite Stamps: Whimsical Christmas Set
Spellbinders: S4-116 Standard Circles Sm, S7-014 Grand 12" Classic Lace Border, S4-185 Large Scalloped Octagons
Paper: 2 pieces of 81/2 x 11" white cards stock and 2 pieces of 81/2 x 11 patterned paper (My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Portobellow Road)
Position your paper, portrait side up, and measure two inches from the center on both sides. Score lines down the length of the paper and fold. To make a box place the folded white papers inside the folded patterned papers to form a rectangular shape. Secure the edges with glue dots. Punch holes, for grommets, two inches from the top of all four sides on both the bottom and top of your box. Cut two strands of ribbon measuring 45" Thread thru the grommets crossing at the bottom of the box (this will hold your bottle in place). Cut a decorative border for the top of the box. To make the tag cut a 12 x 2" strip of patterned paper and fold accordian style. Shape into a circle and secure with adhesive. Stamp sentiment on patterned paper and cut out with scalloped die template. Using a stamp adhesive, stamp image onto white cardstock and dust with glitter. Cut circle from circle die template. Secure to tag with foam adhesive and attach to bag with twine.
Today the JustRite team joins other fabulous stampers and designers for more HoHoHo Inspiration:
