JustRite 12 Weeks of Christmas Blog Hop #2

Welcome to JustRite Stampers’ newest Wednesday feature, 12 Weeks of Christmas Blog Hops #2!  Every Wednesday up until Thanksgiving some of your favorite designers will be joining some of the JustRite design team for a series of Christmas blog hops, showcasing JustRite’s entire Christmas Collection of stamps!  This week, it’s the Stamper’s Dream design team!  So mark your calendars for Wednesdays at 9am Central for great Christmas gift, card & project ideas, starting at the JustRite Inspiration blog! 

Continuing the idea of bringing you unique gift and home decor ideas, this week's JustRite project are handmade Christmas ornaments with a personal photo frame touch.  Gather up your supplies and devote a little time to make a gift that will delight not only Aunts, Uncles and Grandparents but just about anyone in your life.  Here's what you will need:

{Supplies}

JustRite Stamps: Old Fashioned Christmas 3 1/4", From Our House 2" Square
Spellbinders: S4-295 Lacey Squares Nestabilities, S4-129 Classic Scalloped Squares SM, S4-114 Standard Circles LG
Paper: Doodlebug Sugar Coated Ladybug and Beetle Black Cardstock
Embellishments: Ribbon, Berry Sprig and ornament hanger from Hobby Lobby

Stamp the borders using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock. Color holly sprigs and berries with Copic Markers.  To make a frame tape down two of the circle die templates, cut side down, so that the border is visible in the middle.  The inside opening of my frame measures 2" in diameter so sized my pictures at 2.5" square.  Die cut your photograph to fit inside your frame.  Using the Lacey Square die template cut a black square and red square for the base of your ornament.  Die cut a red and black scalloped square to fit the inside panel of your ornament.  To finish the back, stamp the image and sentiment on white cardstock, color, and adhere to your ornament.  Assemble all parts and finish by embellishing with ribbon, ornament hanger and glittered berry sprigs

{Design Tip}

The finish on the back of the glitter paper is white.  Die cut two Lacey Squares from black cardstock and adhere to the back of the glitter cardstock before adhering the "To: From: " label
